What’s Your Poison? Iced Irish Coffee

Hello everyone,

I love coffee, seriously though it has got to be one of my most favourite things ever! It’s a rare occasion that a day goes be with no coffee. So naturally one of my first posts for this feature is going to be a coffee beverage. In the warmer months I have a hard time consuming my favourite beverage because plain and simple it’s too hot to drink a hot beverage. Iced coffee to the rescue, with the bit of zip of an Irish coffee you can still get that warmth feeling without actually raising your temperature to consume a hot cup of java.

Iced Irish Coffee

3-4 ice cubes

1 cup strong brewed coffee

1 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream

Combine all ingredients and enjoy. For something extra special top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon. Exclude ice for a hot beverage.

Absolutely delicious!

    1. I believe that there is a best before date on the bottle, if it is stored in ideal conditions I think it can last beyond that. the website says “..for 2 years from the day it was made, opened or unopened, stored in the fridge or not when stored away from direct sunlight..”
